River with our group of nine children during Spring
Break. Rising Phoenix is a first class operation. We

and I wanted to thank you for all your help making his
birthday a wonderful success. You and your wife made us
feel so welcome and you were both so helpful. The whole
experience with you was WONDERFUL. When you dropped us
off in the river we took our time and just enjoyed the
peace and quiet of nature and then got to the island and
pitched our tent and set up camp. That night we had a
fire and laid out on a blanket and there were no signs
of any other people anywhere. There was no light, no pollution,
and no street noise. We were able to see Orion's Belt,
the Big Dipper and even the Milky Way. The next morning
we were up bright and early and watched six deer drinking
at the river bank. We even saw fish spawning. On our way
back we stopped and had lunch on some rocks and swam in
the river. We arrived at the pick-up point and you arrived
within a few moments to pick us up. We will be back on
a regular basis to relax and enjoy a few days away from
reality. Thanks again for a wonderful much needed weekend
away."
